1. Journalist respects freedom of speech and expression, the public's right to know the truth. 

2. Journalist should disseminate information based on only fact, should not conceal it or should not falsify the information. 

3. From the moment a journalist finds out that he or she is spreading inaccurate or misleading information, he or she must do his or her utmost to correct it. 

4. When the source of the information is desired to be confidential, protecting this right is journalist’s professional duty. 

5. Journalists should not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, ethnicity, political or social origin, and should make an effort to prevent it. 

6. The following is considered as serious professional mistakes for journalists: plagiarism, slander, receiving money for spreading or not spreading biasedly obtained information, intervention to personal life. 

7. A journalist should not disseminate the information if he / she knows that the information he / she has received is unfair and biased before it becomes known to the public. 

8. Representation on behalf of the institution, speeches in the media are not allowed without the permission of the head of the enterprise. 

9. A journalist must respect his colleagues within the collective to which he/she belongs, comply with the rules of conduct, avoid actions that harm the business environment, and observe the norms of subordination.
